Story

Our community has very few amenities. With the closure of the Harraton Annex of the old school, there is a real need for better community facilities.

The vision we have is to do much more. We would love to provide a new community facility enabling much more to take place locally. Our new website - the history and future of St George's church - gives more details about this vision and the ways in which we hope to serve the community. At the heart of the vision is to develop the building.

We aim to create a new community space and community cafe along with facilities for the community to use and to better enable us in the many ways we bring life and hope to many people. For example, in our 'holiday hunger' week in August we fed nearly 40 children a day with a hot meal and provided games, activities and crafts.

We have already had several generous gifts, but to achieve this vision we need to raise a further £500,000 so please give generously. We give thanks to Jesus for his grace and love

St Georges Church Fatfield

St George's Church is a small, growing church at the heart of the community involved in serving people of all ages and all backgrounds in many ways. From the food bank outpost and lunch club through to community groups, youth and childrens work, toddlers groups and bereavement support, the church want to build people up and support people in need in the name of Jesus.

The vision we have is to do much more. On our new website - the history and future of St George's church - you will be able to browse our history and look at the vision we have to develop the building.
