Having a sewing machine of her own could change a woman's life. Our sewing project has been training ladies from Kampala's slums in sewing and tailoring which is giving them a skill for life. We want to also be able to set them up for success by giving them sewing machines. Kids Club Kampala has been fortunate to receive donations of sewing machines from the UK but we need the funds to ship them over to Uganda, fix them up and get some neccessary accessories so that these ladies can begin to make an income for themselves and their families. Please help us to SEND THEM SEWING MACHINES!
Welcome to my give.net fundraising page. Donating with give.net is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks for visiting!
Kids Club Kampala is a children’s charity working in the slums of Kampala, Uganda, with the aim of bringing hope and love to vulnerable children and transforming poor communities. Kids Club Kampala was set up to overcome the lack of hope and self-esteem of children living in situations of extreme poverty, and works to empower children and women from disadvantaged communities to bring about sustainable changes through different development projects and supporting their basic needs. Kids Club Kampala’s provides fun and games, football, music, dance, food and other basic needs for over 4000 children a week. Alongside this, Kids Club Kampala is supporting children to get a good education and working with women from these communities to help them increase their incomes and get their families out of poverty. Kids Club Kampala is also supporting vulnerable girls and helping children who have been abandoned have a safe place to live.

Making the amount up to give KCK enough to ship the donated sowing and knitting machines they have in the UK over to Uganda and to the lovely group of ladies if we have been talking to about business.
Having met some of the women that have just completed the KCK training course, we know how important it is that they now get a sewing machine.
