Welcome to my give.net fundraising page. Your support is SO much appreciated.
I am taking on the challenge of running the Manchester Marathon. This has now been postponed to the Autumn but on the 5th April 2020 I will still be running 26.2 miles from my house. Who needs 25,000 runners when you can run on your own?! I will then be running the postponed race too. Inspired by the amazing work of Embassy homeless bus I am raising money for this great charity. I am a volunteer on the bus and can see first hand the amazing work they do.
Embassy is a charity that provides shelter and hope for homeless men in Manchester. Not only do they provide a safe warm place to sleep, they help their guests find permanent accommodation and employment.
They work with 8 companies to get men into full time work and the full-time resettlement worker helps guests into a safe place to stay and supports them for months after housing. 🚌

Embassy
Restoration starting with rest:
Our vision is to help homeless people in Greater Manchester make a new start in life.
Launched in 2019, Embassy uses a re-purposed tour bus to provide emergency shelter and support to vulnerable adults in Greater Manchester.
Within the 12-berth bus we provide time, space and connections to help those who find themselves homeless along a process of restoration and into permanent housing. Our programme takes men from the street, employs them through our corporate partners and with our resettlement worker they can find and sustain permanent accommodation with no need for council housing or benefits.
