Story

Please support us as we take on the challenge of running the Brentwood Half-Marathon, on 18th March, to raise funds for the great work of the Brentwood Schools Christian Worker Trust (BSCWT).  BSCWT serves schools supporting vulnerable young people and helping pupils to develop spiritually.

Donating with give.net is easy and secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thank you for your generosity.

UPDATE 21.3.18: Sadly the Brentwood Half-Marathon had to be cancelled on 18th March due to the bad weather conditions.  However, in order to honour the commitment of our sponsors, Ian and Melvyn will be running the Victoria Park Half-Marathon on 30th March instead.  We are grateful for all your support and hope you will be satisfied with this alternative.

UPDATE 30.3.18: Ian & Melvyn completed the Victoria Park Half-Marathon this morning!!  Thanks so much for all your support and generosity.

Brentwood Schools Christian Worker Trust

Since 1991, the schools of the Brentwood area have had the support of the Brentwood Schools Christian Worker Trust (BSCWT for short!).  Our aim is to serve school communities by providing Christian learning and support through our team of staff and volunteers.

In primary, secondary and specialist schools, we provide pastoral support, run lunchtime clubs, teach lessons, lead assemblies and create 'prayer spaces'.  We are Christians serving schools on behalf of the local churches.

To sustain and develop our work, we rely upon the support and donations of individual supporters and churches.  We are so grateful for anyone who can support this important educational and pastoral work among children and young people in school.
