Story
projectRECYCLE is an initiative to provide a common sense housing solution for Christian families who have been displaced from their homes in Mosul and the disputed Nineveh Plain villages into the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The initiative helps to address the exodus of Christians from Northern Iraq in the wake of the ISIS insurgency by “recycling” Christian homes which have been abandoned to provide new permanent housing for those Christian families wishing to remain.
Homes are provided on a rent-to-own basis and recovered funds will be reinvested in income generation and infrastructure projects for the benefit of families in the villages where the homes have been purchased.
