The Church of St Barnabas Kensington (Charity no.1133985) recently came to my attention because its vicar, Rev Andy Buckler, conducted the funeral service of my beloved son Oscar.
As I've got to know the vicar, and this French/English bilingual Church, I've been so impressed by the warm welcome (to those of all, of no, faiths), and by the Church's desire to make a real difference in the local community. I seek to raise funds, in Oscar's memory, to support two specific projects: (1) opening up 'soft play' mornings to reach out to vulnerable parents and children, (2) using the crypt of the Church to develop (with my active involvement) a school of music and creative arts, reaching out to the community through music and the arts.
Donating with give.net is easy and 100% secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.
With love and my deepest thanks

What two wonderful projects to support. Even though I couldn't attend Oscar's funeral, my thoughts have been with you. I am attending a carol concert at the Christchurch Priory this evening. I will light a candle for Oscar. Xx
