Story
Help us to fulfil our task to provide a debt service to the people of New Malden, Wimbledon and Kingston, now and in the future! If we reach our target, it will make all the difference to our fundraising efforts for our work locally.
The Kingston and Wimbledon (formerly New Malden & Kingston) CAP Debt Centre provides free debt counselling via face to face home visits, in depth and long-term debt relief options. Our centre is a local arm of leading debt counselling charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) which has been running since 1996, and it covers an area a little larger than the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames, as well as Wimbledon. The hub church is St John’s New Malden.
The Centre is self-supporting and depends on individual supporters and fund-raising. We employ the Debt Centre Manager and pay for the professional debt advice services provided by CAP headquarters.
