Help replace school shoes for 15 orphaned and vulnerable children

Story

This year, Micah wants to mark his birthday (instead of presents) by asking for donations to help provide shiny new school shoes for 15 orphaned and vulnerable children, who very sadly had their shoes stolen in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

E3 partner, Truevine Community Church, supports 100 children through school with uniform, shoes, Life Skills classes and emotional support so they can succeed. In the past, a high number of children dropped out of school because of HIV infection, teenage pregnancy, substance abuse and lack of financial and emotional support at home so Truevine's work is making a huge difference. 

Pictured here is one of the families who received school uniform and shoes last year. I will share photos of the children in their new shiny shoes in due course.
