Story

The manna2go bakery employment creation project is a proven and sustainable means of genereating an income, combined with the tools, training and mentorship to make it successful.

We have design and developed a wood burning oven which is ideal for the purpose and we provide training in how to bake artisan products using the oven and also the basics of running a small business.

A 'manna2go' bakery oven can provide employment for up to 3 new bakers and each new bakery can host training for new potential entrepeneurs.

Skills2Work is based in Cape Town, South African. We also now have a project centre in Karonga, Malawi.

The cost of an oven, assembled and installed, in addition to the training and follow-up mentorship is ZAR 30,000 (aprox £1,800)

We would be excited if you can help us create employment with this worthwhile project.

Skills2Work

Skills2Work assists deserving Christian individuals escape unemployment and poverty by facilitating the acquisition of vocational skills linked directly to specific employment opportunities.

Unemployment in South Africa leads almost directly to poverty and suffering, family breakdown and social dysfunction. Skills2Work (100-302-NPO) was established in 2012 in response to this root problem and operates through mentorship and skills development programmes and by facilitating employment apprenticeships.

Recent projects include bread making and bakery training in a local township and carpentry training for specific furniture making employment opportunities.
