Story
Hello,
I am fundraising for my second year at The Oakes (a registered charity) where I will be one of the residential trainees. The Oakes hosts many different christian camps throughout the year for kids aged 8-18. The camps are full of games, activities, food and is a place where young people can learn about the gospel in a fun and exciting way.

The Oakes is committed to communicate the Gospel of Christ to children and young people. The aim is to provide a holiday centre where 8-18 year olds can hear the Christian message, be encouraged in their faith and enjoy a great holiday. The Oakes can accommodate 60 young people plus leaders. The large Georgian house stands in 10 acres of historic gardens including a lake, walled garden, woods, and extensive lawns, yet lies within the city of Sheffield.
