GiveStory
Built in 1871, Fernilee Chapel and Graveyard has faced possible closure but now has a plan for the future. The chapel was originally built by the community for the community and desperately needs your help.
Phase one, conversion of The old Sunday School room to a holiday rental is now complete and will help finance the future upkeep of the Chapel and Graveyard.
Phase two, the main part of the building will be adapted to become a flexible space to serve our local community including current services and introducing projects for wellbeing and heritage.
Donations to Fernilee Chapel will support plans to safeguard its future and maintain the graveyard so it remains a place of comfort and benefit for the community.
Thank you for your support as without it Fernilee Chapel will not exist.
