Story

St Thomas' Church, Lancaster, are raising funds to build a multi-purpose centre for use by the local community and local charities, as well as by the church.

Our "Heart of the City" project particularly aims to support families in need by creating a Family Life Centre. So far we have raised more than £1.5 million of the approximately £2 million required.

Over 90 church members went on a sponsored walk on Saturday 18th May 2019, walking alongside the Lancaster canal to St Thomas’ Garstang (13 miles) or to St John’s Ellel (5 miles). We had a great day!!

All donations are welcome here and you might like to add a few words to congratulate the walkers you know.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.

For more information about the project see: https://www.st.tees.org.uk/Groups/301099/Building_Project.aspx

International donors must please go to: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/canamble
