Story

Welcome to our give.net fundraising page.

Our event, Broadmead Night Walk, is on Saturday 30th June 2018 starting at 3:30pm, this is to raise money for the  building fund for the new Broadmead Centre. The challenge is to walk the Brampton Valley Way, either from Northampton to Market Harborough, the opposite way (both 14 miles), or for you keen walkers out there you can walk both ways, longer than a marathon! (28 miles). Alternatively you can do part of the walk as there are 6 car parks along the route. There are no restrictions on age or numbers, so why not invite your friends to take part too? Pets are also allowed. There are two tunnels along the route, the longest being 422 metres, so don't forgot to bring you're torches as it'll be dark in there! Appropriate clothing/footwear is also a must. It costs £5 per person to sign up for this event.

Give.net is safe, secure and easy to use. Please confirm if you are a UK taxpayer as this will add 25p to every £1 you give.

Thanks for visiting

Broadmead Baptist Church, Northampton, Building for the Future

Broadmead was founded over 80 years ago. The vision then, as is now, was to serve the community. Today, it is a lively community church with 100s of people using our building for the nursery, youth clubs, coffee mornings, money advice centre, worship services and other activities/groups. Sadly the building is now showing signs of age, and the growth of our community work means that we need more space and better facilities. We have decided that the best option is to demolish the existing building and erect a new one on the same site. This will give us approximately 75% more floor space over two levels. It will be called the Broadmead Centre which will be the home of the church, nursery, money advice centre, youth work, homework clubs, luncheon clubs and much more. It will be much better equipped to provide the facilities and opportunities the community desperately needs.
