Beyond the Streets exists to provide routes out for women exploited through prostitution. We do this through working directly with women and through supporting local church based grassroots projects throughout the UK to provide outreach and support. Our vision is to see a world where people are free from exploitation, and where those involved in prostitution have the option to pursue genuine alternatives, free from constraints such as drug use, abusive relationships and poverty. Whilst there can be a focus on the way people get in to prostitution (i.e. trafficking, coercion etc) our focus is in supporting those caught up within it and supporting them as they seek sustainable routes out. The work of Beyond the Streets has been shaped since started in 1995 by practitioners and those with direct experience of exiting prostitution.
