Story
Hi! My name is Ben and I will be joining the Oakes GAP team in September. Please give
towards The Oakes GAP Team Support Fund. The Oakes Trust (a registered charity) provides
accommodation, food and training for all its Gap team members. This costs the charity
approximately £2400 per person per year. All Oakes staff members are all unpaid volunteers.
By giving to The Oakes Gap team support fund, you will be helping us to provide for our
mission to reach young people with the gospel.
Throughout the year, I will be trying to provide a great holiday for the campers, whilst integrating the truths that we learnt in the bible into the week. The Oakes has majorly helped me in my walk with God as a camper, and I am looking forward to God hopefully doing the same through me for the other campers. Any support, whether through donations or prayer, would be greatly appreciated!

The Oakes is committed to communicate the Gospel of Christ to children and young people. The aim is to provide a holiday centre where 8-18 year olds can hear the Christian message, be encouraged in their faith and enjoy a great holiday. The Oakes can accommodate 60 young people plus leaders. The large Georgian house stands in 10 acres of historic gardens including a lake, walled garden, woods, and extensive lawns, yet lies within the city of Sheffield.
