Welcome to my give.net fundraising page.
I have been given the honour of opening a new area of the Levi Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, that will be used for youth community fitness.
This along with mental health classes that are already in place will support young people in a poverty-stricken area and where work is hard to find. Fitness has been proven to promote good mental health and well-being.
I will be giving the first fitness classes to local youth and sports teams.
I will be cycling 505 miles during the month of March, some of my cycle ride will be virtual and some on the road.
Anything you are able to donate will purchase fitness equipment.
£5 will buy a balance ball, £10 will buy resistance bands and £50 will buy 5 fitness balls.
Donating with give.net is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks for visiting!
2:52 Challenge incorporating Soapbox Trips.
The 2:52 Challenge is a call to young people to live life on purpose and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
The 2:52 Challenge programme is based on a verse in the Bible. Luke 2:52 says 'Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and with man'. Just as Jesus grew, the 2:52 Challenge encourages young people to learn new skills, live healthy lives, explore their spirituality and become active members of their local community.
Soapbox Trips provides opportunities for people to go on short-term practical mission trips and/or teaching trips to some of the poorest communities throughout the world.
