Story
The Wyn Cornish Awards are inspired by Missionary Teacher Wyn Cornish.
WCAs offer bursaries at tertiary level. They cover fees, laptops, accommodation, exams & substistance living. Award holders are also provided with laptops.
WCA holders come from impoverished families with little or no financial support & no previous tertiary level experience.
2019 Awards have been offered to
* Wilson Chiyala - Computer Studies at Lusaka Lusaka Business & Technical College
* Ruth Mutakula - Teaching at Eden University
* Richard Bunda - Radiography at Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts & Management
WCA are supported by Project Officer, Cheelo Sichilo, and are encouraged to visit the Hope & Faith School to mentor/inspire younger students still at the school.
The WCA Alumni are supporting the ongoing development of Hope & Faith Christian Community School.
