Story
Could you sleep outside for one night? Some people don’t have a choice. Just in London last year there were an estimated 1283 rough sleepers on any given night and 148 homeless deaths. As it gets chillier over the winter months, night shelters like GrowTH's are so crucial in helping keep people safe, warm and supported as they move forward in their lives.
On the night of Friday 15th November 2019, we will be sleeping outside as a way to raise awareness and identify, in a small way, with those that have no home to go to. We'll also be raising vital funds for GrowTH's homeless night shelter, which opened its doors again for this winter on 1st October.
As part of our work with Greenlight, Ivana and myself have the joy and privilege to volunteer with GrowTH’s winter shelter. For the past 2 winters, we have seen how GrowTH go above and beyond to provide guests with care, love and refuge from the cold.
Any donations will be put to amazing use this winter and for many winters to come.
