Staff at Cathedral Academy in Wakefield are taking on a challenge of epic proportions! As a team, we are aiming to walk/cycle/run the whopping 6,379 mile distance between sunny Wakefield and even sunnier Uganda to raise vital funds for Kids Club Kampala (KCK), a cause very close to our hearts.

KCK works in the slum communities of Kampala, Uganda to bring hope and transformation through communtiy empowerment. Covid 19 has had a disastrous impact on the communities that KCK serves. Many are in desperate need of assistance to meet their basic needs such as food and hygiene. 

We know that times are tough but if you are able to support us in our efforts we would be so grateful. Just £1 would provide five children with a nutritious meal so every little bit really does help!
