Why in 2021 is it that in the time it takes you to read this post, a new-born baby has died as a result of contaminated water, and if like me, you're a slow reader, a child under 5 has also died of diarrhoea (UNICEF)!

25 of us are going to rural Gambia in October to deliver and install 250 Sawyer water filters in the same number of homes.  This intervention will remove 1000+ people out of water poverty, preventing sickness and death.

No child should have to drink contaminated water, and no mother deserves to go through the loss of a new-born baby or a child.  Like me, I am sure you feel the pain of the injustice, but your support will make a massive difference, this is what you can do:

1filter kit costs £25, each team member is taking 10 filters.  Why not help prevent sickness and death caused by water-borne disease by donating £25, or more?  Each filter removes a whole family out of water poverty for 10 years!
