Story

I'm an overweight, unfit science teacher with a young family and an embarrassing lack of willpower.

I am not a runner, and have no interest at all in running times or pace. Please do not talk to me about it, the running app I downloaded tried to motivate me and it made me sick.

Due to family and work commitments, the vast majority of this challenge will be completed doing laps of my housing estate at 5am... I'm not looking forward to it.

For every kilometre I am away from my target, I will donate 50p to the charity myself. I've already started saving...
