Welcome to the Morgans’ latest slightly crazy project! We’re going to be paddling 127 miles over six days in May in a fundraising Canoe Marathon from Witney to Westminster. It’s organised by Adventure Plus, a Christian outdoor centre which is also a Partner in Action with A Rocha UK, the Christian conservation charity we’ve volunteered with for many years. Only one charity can feature on a fundraising page (hence only one set of details below), but we are splitting the money we raise 50/50 between these two, who do fantastic work for both people and the planet. Donating with is easy and completely secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer, please confirm if you’d like the charities to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation as this will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks so much for encouraging us by supporting our chosen causes!

A Rocha UK

A Rocha UK is a Christian charity committed to helping individuals and churches in the UK to care for the natural world. We believe that looking after the world, in all the different forms that takes, is a core part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. We do this through practical conservation and ecological research on our own reserves in Southall and Suffolk, and through our 10 Partners in Action located throughout the UK. We equip churches through our Eco Church scheme and engage with schools through our education programmes. Through our Wild Christian online community, we encourage individuals and families to link their faith, nature and lifestyle decisions, and we campaign on biodiversity and environmental issues. We are part of the worldwide family of A Rocha organisations, and work collaboratively with others who share our passion for the planet. For more information about us and how you can get involved, contact [email protected] or phone 020 8574 5935.
