*UPDATE - Matthew is still cycling, he is now following his own route as the official cycle has been postposed! Matthew will be cycling from Colchester to Southwold.
Matthew's taking on the 63-mile London to Cambridge bike ride again this year, but this time with a twist!
Not only has he spent lockdown eagerly training, Matthew has also built his own road bike using upcycled bicycle parts, and will be using that for his mission. So fingers crossed that all the gizmos and thingamijigs keep ticking over! Oh, and we hope the bike works too!
Matthew is raising funds for the work of Colchester CAP Debt Centre, who have been saving people from debt and poverty since 2014. So if you think his efforts are worth a few squid, click that button!
Colchester CAP Debt Centre
Colchester CAP Debt Centre is part of Christians Against Poverty, an award winning, national debt counselling charity offering free help and advice through a network of debt centres based in the local church. CAP offers hope and a solution to people in debt through its top-quality, in-depth service, as well as financial education through the CAP Money Course, helping people back into employment through CAP Job Clubs, and giving people support with everyday life through our Life Skills course.
Colchester CAP Debt Centre is going from strength to strength. In 6 years we have seen over 300 households, of which over 100 have become free of debt.
