St Columba's Church has recently established a Partnership with Chuluchosema CCAP Church in Malawi. We believe that a Partnership is about relationships, including face-to-face meetings, so a group from Glenrothes will be travelling to Malawi in July 2016. We also hope to have a group from Malawi visit us in Glenrothes next year.
We have established this fundraising page to support our Partnership related activities agreed between the partnership committees in Scotland and Malawi. All donations are most welcome.
"Journey to Malawi" - Some of us have been recording our steps and swimming since March and we have been adding the mileage. We should finish on Saturday 11th June. See www.st-columbas.com/malawi-partnership/ for our final event.
Donating with give.net is easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like us to reclaim Gift Aid, adding 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks again for visiting!
St Columba's Parish Church of Scotland in Glenrothes is a parish church serving Central and South Glenrothes, including the town centre, South Parks, Rimbleton, part of Warout, Stenton, Finglassie, Southfield and Viewfield. We are also part o the Rothes Trinity Parish Grouping with St Ninian's and Trinity Church in Leslie. St Columba's Church is near the Rothes Halls on the junction of Rothes Road and Church Road. We hold Sunday worship every Sunday at 11am, except in July when the services are at 10:30am and are shared with other local churches. The Grapevine cafe operates on Wednesday afternoons (2-4pm) and on the second Sunday of each month (except July and August) we have a thriving Messy Church from 4-6pm. As well as working with other local churches and charities, we are in partnership with Chuluchosema CCAP in Malawi. For details of our activities please see our web site or Facebook page.
