Story
This Christmas we are going be challenging ourselves to simplify our own Christmas to enable us to help the poorest in our city have food, clothing and shelter.
We want to raise £20k in order to:
1) Buy 500 ‘Beds’ as part of Bethany’s ‘Buy a Bed’ in support of the Bethany Welcome Centre
2) Give 50 hampers to those supported through our CAP Ministry, AND in collaboration with Edinburgh City Mission and other churches across the City give 230 hampers out to refugees, asylum seekers and those who have no recourse to public funds
3) Support the cost of 5,000 meals through Central's Soul Food project, providing a free dinner every Friday to those in need.
