Zimbabwe is a country in crisis. We have have been training ICY students in entrepreunership and many projects have been established. The current situation where energy is only available overnight has severly limited what they can do. We want to support our students with portable solar panels to enable them to continue their project development.

We are looking to innitially support 400 students.

Thank you for visiting our Stewardship fundraising page. Donating with Stewardship is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks for visiting!

ICY Africa, Solar Panels for Zimbabwe

International Christian Youthworks Africa established in 2002, runs a Leadership and Development Academy in local centres across Africa to train & develop African young adults to become leaders of integrity, and to grow entrepreneurial, life & employment skills. It focusses on in-depth personal discipleship, leadership, financial capability, enterprise, economy & business understanding. Each student has to develop a project based on the UN Sustainable Goals.

Part of the Academy is the ICY Diploma,a programme with 13 core & 8 contextualised modules, validated by the Springdale Foundation (part of ForMission College U.K.).  Practical application enables students to impact their community.

The programme is provided free for those who can't afford it or through partnerships with local government, schools, and organisations.

We are a small charity with a big vision.Training young adults who will go on to train others and together bring societal change. Over 200,000 have done the course so far.
