Story

Over the month of April, my aim is to walk the equivalent of The Leicestershire Round - 102 miles (or 164km) to help raise money for Hinckley Area Foodbank.

As some of you may know, I have been volunteering for Foodbank for a while now - even more so over the past year throughout the ongoing pandemic.

Foodbank believes that no one in a community should go hungry. They help to provide three days' nutritionally balanced emergency food and support local people in crisis. Hinckley Area Foodbank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust.

Hinckley Area Foodback work tirelessly to support our community, and the work they do is simply amazing. So, whether my walk inspires you to donate money, or pick up some extra food next time you go shopping and leave these in a foodbank collection point, I'll be happy.
