Story

Hi from Gordon and Brenda! Haiti is extremely poor and still recovering from the 2010 earthquake that killed 230,000 and orphaned many children. We are going there with the charity Hope House Haiti to support a medical team that will check the health of the 38 children in the orphanage and 1,000 children in the school. The children are weighed, measured, checked for skin diseases and vision problems then given vitamins, worming tablets and food supplements if needed. Some will need to go to hospital in Port-au-Prince. That's why we are fund-raising - these children need our help. Whatever you can spare would be really appreciated. Donating with give.net is easy and completely secure. This is a service run by the Stewardship charity and they don't charge any set-up fees. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like Stewardship to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. We will update you on our return. Again, thanks. Gordon and Brenda.
