Story

Welcome to David's Leaving Gift Stewardship fundraising page.  After 12 years as the Guild Vicar at St Lawrence Jewry, Revd Canon David Parrott, is retiring in June 2021. This is our opportunity to express our gratitude to all his ministry in the City of London.  If you would like to show you appreciation and wish him and Sue well for many years of retirement, then you can leave your donation here.  Any words in the comment section will also be appreciated.

Donating with Stewardship is really easy and completely secure.  If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks for visiting!

St Lawrence Jewry Guild Church Council, Friends

St Lawrence Jewry is the official church of the Lord Mayor of London and the City of London Corporation and stands in the Yard of the Guildhall. It was re-built by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of 1666, but there has been a church on the site for around 900 years. After extensive damage in the Second World War, it was again re-built. We are here to show the love of Christ to those who live and work in the City of London, and we seek to be welcoming to the many people who pass through our doors.
