Covid-19 Appeal for Food relief for Christians in Okara Pakistan
Closing date: 09 April 2022
Story
Pakistan, like many developing nations, is severely affected by the Covid-19 virus. All schools, shops and businesses are closed.
Pastor Waqas Moazzam of Living Stones Church & School has reported that many Christian families in the rural villages surrounding Okara, Pakistan, are desperately short of food and at risk of starvation. As daily wagers they are unable to work, due to the Governments recent lockdown.
Pastor Waqas and his church team are reaching out to local Christian families with food packages and are therefore appealing for money to buy and distribute essential foodstuffs to needy families.
£20 will provide essential food package for 1 family for 2-4 weeks.
