This year CIOB Novus North will be climbing Scafell Pike for Embassy Bus. This charity works with the homeless in Manchester, to try and get them into employment and homed.
We are working closely with the people on the bus to see if there any construction opportunities for them and we want the money we raise not only to go towards the day to day running of the bus but also further support for some of the residents for things such as a CSCS card training or PPE for their work.
Currently over 5000 people in Greater Manchester are homeless and more at risk of becoming homeless or hidden homeless. By supporting Embassy we can actively help get some of the streets, into safety and given hope and opportunities to get their life back on track.
Donating with give.net is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.
Thank you for visiting and please give generously.
Restoration starting with rest:
Our vision is to help homeless people in Greater Manchester make a new start in life.
Launched in 2019, Embassy uses a re-purposed tour bus to provide emergency shelter and support to vulnerable adults in Greater Manchester.
Within the 14-berth bus we provide time, space and connections to help those who find themselves homeless along a process of restoration and into permanent housing.
If you share our vision of displaying Jesus' love by providing a safe space and community so that our guests can make a fresh start, please consider supporting by making a donation. Thank you.
