I am worried about how the vulnerable people and our local food bank will be affected by the Coronavirus spread, panic buying and potential isolations.
Im worried about many people in my community whose mental health maybe significantly impacted.
i can not physically help, I can't offer to do shopping for me elderly neighbours but I can pop round and check in and I can raise money for other vulnerable people.
Any support is very gratfully received ❤️

Emergency food for local people in crisis
Local people donate food, various agencies identify people who are in crisis and issue them with a food voucher. People can come to our distribution centre at Wisbech Baptist Church to exchange the voucher for a food parcel which gives 3 days of nutritionally balanced food. We welcome people, listen to them, offer other advice and signposting to help address their longer term needs.
Why the community needs us
The current national food poverty crisis has left people across the country in genuine need. Foodbanks like Wisbech Foodbank enable local people to help local people who are in crisis.
What the Foodbank means to our community
Clients tells us that we are a lifeline - there when they most need it. Since we welcome and listen to anybody who comes to us, they also thank us for giving them their dignity back.
