We train practitioners across the UK to run the Own My Life course with women who have been subjected to abuse. It is an innovative, creative and educational 12-week course helping women to regain ownership of their lives; through gaining greater understanding about abuse, building literacy about trauma, and learning how popular culture reinforces or perpetuates sexism, rape culture, violence, misogyny, disrespect in relationships and abusive behaviour. Participants have described the course as "life changing" and "mindblowing".
By supporting our work you will enable us to provide affordable training to practitioners in the domestic abuse sector and beyond, to subsidise the course resources and to enable women to recover from what has been done to them.
