- draw together those who believe that Scripture in its entirety is the Word of God
- provide a vehicle for orthodox Christians to have a voice within the church
- provide support and encouragement to ministers and congregations
- develop and encourage prayer across the church
- develop and encourage fellowship among evangelicals across the church
