Feltham Arts is committed to working with voluntary and statutory organisations in Hounslow, to broaden community participation in creative activity, celebrating culture and providing opportunities for personal development and shared experiences through community events.

Established in 1989, Feltham Arts Association (FAA) is a charity based in the west of Hounslow and is the second largest arts provider in the borough, offering a year-round programme of local community arts in Feltham, Hanworth and Bedfont. FAA’s programmes have been running for the past 30 years, engaging 10,000 people of all ages per year. FAA has been happily housed in the heart of The Centre, Feltham, next to Feltham Library for the past ten years. Between 2012 and 2016 FAA managed the successful delivery of the local authority’s commissioned contract for Arts and Civic pride – Community Based Service.

FAA works with a wide range of both locally based and national artists and companies, the charities success and widespread support can be measured by its strong relationships with a broad range of partners (voluntary, statutory and the private sector) such as Hounslow Housing, Royal Historic Palaces, schools, colleges, resident’s groups, faith groups and town centres. This is further demonstrated by the historical and close relationship between the organisation and the London Borough of Hounslow, which grew out of a five-year Single Regeneration Budget programme where we were the sole delivery partner of arts and cultural provision for the West Area of Hounslow.
