We nurture nascent musical talent and help aspiring artists discover their magic, achieve creative ambitions, and build engaged, diverse audiences through jazz.
We champion diversity, inclusion and equality. Whilst inclusive, our pioneering development program primarily supports young musicians from the African diaspora, female musicians and those whose financial or other circumstances might lock them out of opportunities to pursue a career in the music industry.
We have been a crucial development platform for many of today's leading UK jazz artists: Moses Boyd, Nubya Garcia, Cassie Kinoshi, Femi Koleoso, Shabaka Hutchings, Eska Mtungwazi, Denys Baptiste, Soweto Kinch, Zara McFarlane…
We have ongoing residencies at Southbank Centre and Rich Mix, London and are proud to be a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England and PRSF Talent Development Partner.
