St George's Church is a small, growing church at the heart of the community involved in serving people of all ages and all backgrounds in many ways. From the food bank outpost and lunch club through to community groups, youth and childrens work, toddlers groups and bereavement support, the church want to build people up and support people in need in the name of Jesus. 

The vision we have is to do much more. On our new website - the history and future of St George's church - you will be able to browse our history and look at the vision we have to develop the building. We aim to create a new community space and community cafe along with facilities to better enable us in the many ways we bring life and hope to many people. For example, in the winter lockdown we provided over 1400 lunches to young people and through the COVID crisis have delivered over 1000 hot meals to elderly and vulnerable people.
