St. Andrews is a friendly, welcoming church on the south side of the coastal Cumbrian town of Whitehaven. We are an Anglican church within the Evangelical tradition of the Church of England. We look to the Bible for guidance in all matters of faith, belief and behaviour. For us it is a light in the darkness that the Holy Spirit uses to inspire and inform the people of God. As people who have come to know Jesus through a personal faith, we are enjoying His forgiveness for our wrongdoing, the new start He offers - purpose in life, moral wholeness, hope for today and beyond death.
