Story
On May 12th, I will run 13 miles in the Leeds Half Marathon to raise funds for In2Out.

For the past 5 years In2Out have been working with young people like Jack as they leave custody - helping them turn their lives around and keep from reoffending. Please join with us in helping more young lives get back on track.
I have continually been inspired by the many stories of how young peoples lives have been drastically changed because of the help and support they received from an In2Out mentor.

In2Out
In2Out works to reduce reoffending by bringing positive change into the lives of young lads leaving custody, the majority aged 15 to 18, but up to 21 years of age, most of whom are returning to the north of England. We do this through one-to-one mentoring, via a network of salaried, regionally focused, Mentor Coordinators, who are supported by volunteer mentors. In the last 6 years In2Out has supported over 450 young people leaving custody.
We are making a difference. The national reoffending rate for 15-18 year olds within 12 months of release from custody is 65%. This is a true reflection of the particular challenges facing this very vulnerable group, and equally the challenges of working with them to affect positive change. In 2019, the reoffending rate for young people working with In2Out was less than 25%.
