In 2015 we moved to Kakamega, Kenya to volunteer for The Kenyan Children’s Project. Since then our family has grown, our team has grown and our work has grown too!
Across the globe our children and young adults are facing challenges. Challenges that range from drug addictions and gang violence, to poverty, abandonment and bullying. Together we can see change.
We, along with our team of qualified social workers work with the Kenyan Government to provide a direct reintegration programme, helping street connected children transition back into a safe family environment. Every child has the right to be a part of a loving family. Each child should know that they are precious, cared for and able to make safe choices. Working on the streets, within institutions, rehabilitation centers and church groups delivering sessions, has enabled us to provide the support needed to see many children reconciled with family.
There is hope for happy endings, because no story is too lost for transformation.
