Story
Peckham Sponsors Refugees is a group of people who have come together to bring a vulnerable Syrian refugee family to live in our community through the Government's Community Sponsorship Scheme.
We have already found a home and will be welcoming a family of eight in early 2019.
As a group made up entirely of volunteers, any donations you make will go directly to helping the sponsor family. We will prepare the house for their arrival, filling it with food and comforts; meet them at the airport and transport them to their new home; assist them with registering with services, learning English and finding work; and support them to becoming self-sufficient over a 2-year period.
We are supported in our Community Sponsorship by Sponsor Refugees which is part of Citizens UK.
